Post  NIGE on Tue Jul 24, 2012 1:44 am

NOT SCOOTER RELATED.BUT A WORD OF WARNING.LAST WEEK WE HAD FLOODED ROADS AROUND OUR VILLAGE.I WAS OUT IN MY MRS BELOVED ST220 ONE OF THE LAST ONES MADE IT IS ONE OF OUR AIRPORT TAXIS.WELL I WENT THROUGH SOME DEEPISH WATER AND I HAVE DONE 5K TO 7K WORTH OF DAMAGE TO ENGINE AND ELECTRONICS .SO I HAVE HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY A NEW CAR.THE ST WAS DUE FOR RETIREMENT IN 12 MONTHS BUT I KILLED EARLY.VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE .INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER THAT SORT OF THING .SO IF YOU DRIVE A MODERN CAR DO NOT GO INTO WATER ABOVE BOTTOM OF BUMPER IT WILL JUST SUCK WATER INTO THE AIR INTAKES AND FCK IT ALL UP
