Bridlington

Post  Admin on Sat Aug 25, 2012 4:32 am

Yes I know I've put this in this section and not the events one but I'm guessing that not everyone reads the events section. Can I have names of those who want to show their Luna line machine(s) at the Bridlington show in October. Cheers Very Happy

Times moving on folks - who's up for their machine to be in the display at Bridlington. O far we have 3 machines but we want more.

Brid - No Show!

Post  Admin on Tue Oct 02, 2012 7:07 am

Given that NO ONE has contacted me about Brid I have taken the drastic decision that the LOC will not be represented at the Custom show. Shame as I think we could have had something worthwhile for people to look at but if LOC members don't or I guess in some cases, aren't able to show their machines then there is little point in having a display.

That must be disappointing for you Pete tenth anniversary and all, but if you dont mind me saying not very surprising. Perhaps the folks that put in the effort for V.M.S.C might have been a little more willing if they had got the momentos promised way back in April.
I would have liked to participate at Brid, if only to use the club sign that took me over 18 hours to make or display some of the other items i took to Coventry but events earlier in the year meant this was never going to happen much to my disappointment.
Here's to next year and perhaps a display at V.M.S.C

Brid

Thackers, those that displayed at Brid will get the items that I said they would. Unfortunately, I have had a lot on this year and have not had the time to pull a lot of the things in that I wanted to pull in. I'm disappointed though if freebies are the only way of getting people to show their machines - if thats how it is then - thats a sad day for all of us.
I'm not sure what events earlier in the year you are referring to. I appreciate the time and effort that you put in to making the sign etc as I'm sure other LOC owners do.

Dont get me wrong

Pete, i'm not saying that freebies are what drives anyone on here, just the fact that when someone feels rewarded for their efforts and a promise is fulfilled they tend to go the extra again, that's all. Not for reward just to keep the feelgood factor alive.

Thats a real shame Pete Sad .................. I know a decent pitch that would have given the Luna model and club the best showing had been put aside for you.

Maybe next time Neutral
