fuel tap replacement

easy enough job, easier if tank is lifted up off frame.

Sorry Daz, bit thick when it comes to scoots, only bought it out of nostalgia so really have no idea.
Bought new tap from Jem but it seems to me from looking old tap would not screw out enough with tank in place.
How do I lift tank ?
Sorry but really cannot workout from manuals I downloaded.

the tank is held down by the seat, lift the seat up, undo the two bolts and lift the seat and two springs off, then the tank will slide upwards and forwards.
