rear brake mod

Post  Thackers on Wed Sep 15, 2010 10:48 am

I know there's 2 differing ways to upgrade the rear brake adjuster. One includes the brake arm from a Starstream and there's another way which i think uses a motorbike adjusting brake part????????? Anyone got any info on either i.e which motorbike bits or a starstream adjuster going spare Wink Wink

Still wanting to do this up-grade. The way the bike bounces along an uneven road pulls the brake on if you have it set too close and is poor if you allow for the travel. My shocker isn't best but better than the previous one. Finding an alternative shocker was doing my sweed in so bought a second hand one, there must be a solution out there that doesn't cost £80 plus Evil or Very Mad why can't we get the old ones reconditioned?
