speedo drives

Ok

Can someone explain this to me. Two different types of speedo drive

4 oclock

How are they different other than the leg position which you can move anywhere you want on the 'clock face' if you wished?

Also what are the two pictured washers for?

the difference is in the size of the speedo cable inner drive

I knew that the speedo cable size could vary (why oh why!) but i dont understand why the ebay listing is mentioning the position of the arm (unless this is for their own reference so they know which is which)

I think they think there different because the part numbers are different and there reasoning is that the arms are in different positions.

I think it goes to show they don't know what there talking about, that said there not a bad price. Surely somewhere the part numbers will have the size of speedo drive?
