disc brake conversion

has anyone out there done a front disc brake conversion using the origonal forks and hub.

I have seen it done but very rarely. Think I may have a picture on my laptop at home. I have a feeling it was a custom built hub

seen one on green custom vega on youtube (lambretta vega 135) its had the bottom off series 3 welded to the top of vega forks, looks good but would prefer to use vega hub.

The Rimini prepared one used in the Beamish trial this year had a similar set up.

I've seen one on a white Vega and the one I did (red metalflake Lui). I made a disc carrier to fix to the original hub and a caliper plate similar to a ScootRS Ser 3 one.Probably overkill but I wanted to see if it could be done.

This is the one of the green TS1 vega. Love how they sorted the mudguard issue

..Wacks brake looks like a work of art..but I've found that the 'sunny hub' reverse pull will stop you quicker than a parked car... Laughing
