tzr piston port.

hi, can anyone tell me what size and where to position the piston port on a tzr conversion. do i need to weld the original holes up.

Yes you will have to weld up the windows unless you do a reed valve. Don't forget the packer to raise the cyl due to the gudgeon pin height on the piston (2mm I think) I'm pretty sure I had abut a 1mm off the skirt on the exhaust side. Just out of interest, where did you get the piston from?

piston port

hi,yes i am using reed valve.
bought a vega last year and it come with the modified barrel and 3 pistons.
one standard and 2 with holes welded up.
the original piston ports are in the wrong place so going to use welded up piston
and cut a new port in it.just need to know how big and where to put it.
