More on air filters
Does anyone have a method for securing the standard air filter?
Mine, a remade casa one fell off yesterday leading to my scoot cutting out and me running down the road waving at cars to stop anyone running it over.
My first idea is to drill a small hole and run a wire from it to the gear change block - so at least it does not go down the road. Any better suggestions so it does not come off at all?
I have heard of another Casa one doing this but do normal ones tend to go missing too?

I made a bracket screwed onto the back of the airbox that then fastens under one of the sidecasing nuts on a friends scoot.

Nice idea. Should not be too hard even for me I think.
I'm thinking some cable ties might do until I get my other issue sorted and then I will look to make the bracket afterwards.

Have you tried using the clamp as fitted to standard air-boxes/filters to stop
them falling off?
They seem to work well enough.

Good idea that thanks. The scooter is now off the road for repairs (dont ask, another nightmare) so once I have it back together I will continue with the jetting and air filter issues!
